The form

Seven fields, two of them optional. It starts a conversation rather than producing a price — what follows is a question or two, then a survey.
What to include
- Both addresses, or at least both postcodes.
- The property type at each end — house, flat, floor, and whether there is a lift.
- Roughly how many bedrooms, and whether the loft and garage are full.
- Whether the dates are fixed, indicative or entirely at the mercy of a solicitor.
- Anything large, heavy or fragile that you already know is going to be a problem.
When we are about
Through the working day Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings. Moves themselves run outside those hours where a building or a job requires it — a permitted loading window, a long European departure, a redelivery that has to fit around a handover.
Before you write
